How To Test Your Voice AI Agent in Soph-IA

This guide explains how to test your AI agent in Soph-IA, either directly through the Agent Builder or by making a demo phone call to ensure everything is working correctly.

Test in Agent Builder

  1. Open the AI Agent Builder for a new or existing agent.
  2. Locate the Test Agent Window.
  3. Click Connect to start a test conversation with your agent.
  4. If the Test Agent Window is hidden, click on Test Agent first to reveal it.
  5. Begin speaking with the agent to confirm that configuration and conversation flow are working properly.

Test with a Phone Call

  1. From any window locate the Phone button at the top right.
  2. Select which telephone number to call from.
  3. Select the agent you want to test.
  4. Call yourself.
  5. Start the call and have a live conversation with the agent to verify it functions correctly in a real phone call scenario.
