Privacy Settings for Voice AI Agents in Soph-IA
This guide explains the privacy settings available in Soph-IA AI agents, including options for storing or discarding data, saving audio recordings, and configuring external storage via AWS S3.

Access the Privacy Tab
- Open the AI Agent Builder for an existing agent.
- Navigate to the Privacy tab to manage data storage preferences.
Enable or Disable Data Storage
- Disable Storage: The system will not save recordings, transcriptions, or related data.
- Enable Storage: Data will be stored for future review and analysis.
Configure Audio Recording Storage
If storage is enabled, you can choose whether or not to save the audio recordings of conversations in addition to text transcriptions.
Configure External Storage (AWS S3)
- Go to the Credentials section of your account.
- Add your AWS S3 bucket credentials.
- When configured, conversation data will be written to your bucket. Access and control remain with you.
- Support for additional storage providers beyond AWS will be added in the future.
